Made in Germany | Solar Technology as an Export Hit

The price of a barrel of Brent Crude oil from the North Sea has risen by 50 percent this year. That in turn raises the price of driving a car - and of manufacturing. So solar power is becoming relatively affordable. German solar technology firms quintupled their sales abroad in the last three years, for an industry total of a billion euros in 2006. German photovoltaic companies have their eye on the European domestic market. But they are also rapidly expanding in the United States and Asia. The Solar Economy Association expects the photovoltaic market to expand by 20 percent a year for the next 15 years, creating many jobs in Germany. Klaus Enderle visited Solon, a photovoltaic company in Berlin that will be opening new production facilities next year. In Cooperation with the Handelsblatt.

@Fritz1602 im robinho1lol, so im not a german but everybody belives germany is the best in everything

@kaspergade and high prices.

Just a request why not make click plug system so the buyer can just simply plug it direct into the solar panel so even a child can have no problem connecting wire into the future?

JA!! DEUTSCHLAND

i suppose you are german!? xD
Maybe the opinon of a french or english man would be different

sry, i meant budget, no udget

Germany is the most powerful country of europe with a udget of 4000 billions euros, Germany has the best roads and autobahns, Germany is the greatest exporter in the world, Germany invented almost all inventions(google it in youtube), Germany has the best football team in the world, One word : GERMANY THE BEST

Yeah, but even then, nothing will be done. Other than Obama explain to us again that we are the leading technology nation in the world. I mean he should know that, with his law degree and such.

“Thanks to government subsidies solar panels pay for themselves in a few years.”

Translation: This will never happen in America because we are the most corrupt country in the world. No, actually that’s not true. When we have finally become TOTALLY obsolete in the world economy, if we aren’t already, then the American government will say “hey maybe WE should try something new!”

The only thing better than solar would be…hmm…let me think…perpetual motion!

Yes! Rock on Germany!!

BTW jayr545…I’ll buy anything made there too no doubt about that~

I’ll buy anything made in Germany!

they will copy it and then they will backstave you and run you off the market

Germany is the number one exporter of Quality goods
and when it come to Renewable energy they are the leader
india and china as a monster market for solar energy
that’s where germany as to focus
and the chine produce high quality solar panel read xvxuxvx don’t be a douchebag

i like german products and japanese products, american products, im sorry to say, or not the best. the cars suck

Royal Navy::Great Idea but why does everybody use a dish shape to track sun.Why not use a globe shape solar collector. Dishes always need to be moved but a ball shaped solar collecting, can get all angles on its panels.
Another good project of a application for solar type idea. Is not using sun light to charge a device. Instead using a laser to charge solar panels.Or laser light sent unto solar panels to gain electricity.Works good under water to charge small device with fiber optic laser light.

never give German technology to the Chinese, they will only copy it.

Complete opposite than “Made in China”.

German products are without doubt the hightest quality in teh world. I have tons of respect for German engineering and quality.

I wish to start my company in China with goal of producing goods with such good quality. (no bashing please)

Makes me proud to be a kraut. : )

Yup, “Made in Germany”, represents high quality!

makes me proud to hear that as a German

I like German products they are the best.

Freiburg is the solar region of Germany! Many companies in this industry are based there. ;-)
