MOONLIGHT LUNAR FRESNEL LENS SOLAR PANEL PV PHOTOVOLTAIC NIGHT SOLAR ENERGY
This video was shot using concentrated moonlight only. We managed to get 1 volt out of a solar panel at 2AM.

@Rescueswimmer85 there is actually a mirror on the moon, but it can only reflect high power lasers

depends on the phase of the moon, during a new moon the sun shines on the back side.
Suppose NASA launched and placed a mirror on the moon. that would be cool, but I’m sure everyone would be pissed about having 2 suns.

surely if you had the fresnel lense and photo-voltaic cells closer to the mirrors, you would produce more electricity as light follows the inverse square law… so you could increase the energy significantly in comparison to what you were recieving?
the results are sometimes a bit dubious,but you sure do come up with lots of ideas,cool brain food

I saw this and had another idea. If you used the parabolic lenses to collect the moon light and put a small 6″ frensel lenses at the focal point, or just beyond, you should get a concentrated beam coming out of the lenses, that you can direct at a photovoltaic cell, or a larger frensel lens. This is because the smaller frensel could be placed on a gimble to direct the light off the mirror-moon axis.
I am going to try this with my cardboard tinfoil and the bathroom lens

I remember in the Florida everglades that I was able to get a small pin dot of moon light to shine out of my telescope. I would guess that you could get up to 3 volts from a full moon. I would try this experiment but I generally wake up the next day after a full moon in a strange place with blood on my mouth — I don’t want to really talk about it though.
Agreed:-) I thought it would produce more. I will be doing this again the next full moon before summer. It is just miserable outside at night here in July. Humid, hot, mosquitos, muddy, condensation. I already miss the great weather we have been experiencing.
If you do this again, try using an accurate meter and measuring in milli volts. That way if you get say 870 mv, you will know what happened.
You can get some anti fog spray for really cheap. Try it
