Solar energy grant awarded to county for Dean Park
A well-lighted Dean Park may one day cost the county zero dollars and may even earn funds for the county. The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) recently awarded Winston County $81,000 in federal funds to help place solar energy lighting at Dean Park, the only county park.
